Ruta del Sillar
Pick up from the hotel where we will go to the quarries of Añashuayco where we will observe the ashlar carvings, the explanation of the stonemason, how the ashlar works, then we will take photos of various representations based on ashlar, after knowing these quarries that are currently worked by various stonecutters, we will go out along the road to visit the virgin quarries called culebrillas along the canyon in this way it has been molded over time, where a 30-minute walk will take place. Then we will return to the city of Arequipa

We begin our tour starting from the historic center towards the CANTERASOn the way we will learn details about the constructions based on volcanic rock (Sillar) provided by our professional guide.
On the way, our first stop will be at a volcano viewpoint located between the town of Cayma and Zamacola where you can see the 3 volcanoes from another angle that surround the city such as: MISTI, CHACHANI and PICHU PICHU in which we can take panoramic photos. in 360°.
We continue with the journey towards the quarries; the place where the white city gave rise, we enter the quarries where we will observe the immense cliffs worked by the hand of man.
Next we will have an experiential time to share and interact with these peculiar characters the ancestral technique of ashlar extraction that is still preserved from colonial times to the present.
Continuing with our tour, we will board the transport to visit the VIRGIN QUARRY OF CULEBRILLAS where we will take a fascinating 20-minute walk. Inside culebrillas we will feel a mysterious and unique environment where we can see the presence of petroglyphs that will take us to the life and beliefs of ancient man as this is a sacred place with pink walls, then we will see the presence of apachetas where their symbolism will be made known. They will also have the experience of putting together their apacheta.
After having completed the walk we boarded the bus to return to the city center.
