Itinerary

6:10 – 6:45: Pick up from hotels in the historic center or agreed meeting point.
6:50: Leaving the city of Arequipa towards the Pillones Waterfall. Leaving the city of Arequipa behind.
8:20: We arrive at the town of Pampa de Arrieros, called the ghost town of Arequipa. This town was the gateway to the White City where we will visit its old station and the church of San Antonio de Padua. We make a stop at the viewpoint of the western mountain range Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca, from this point we will be within the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve. In the Pampa Blanca sector we make a stop to see Vicuñas and the Volcanoes of the city of Arequipa: Misti, Chachani and the snow-capped Pichu Pichu.

Next, we arrive at Patahuasi at this point we can have breakfast, have a coffee, coca tea and also buy crafts, from this point on we will be above 4,000 meters above sea level. We will make a stop at the Bofedal Umaluso Tambo Cañahuas where we can spot llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. Then we will take a walk for approximately 40 minutes to visit the stone forest, a place with strange rock formations and stone columns, where you can take photos and observe the flora and fauna of the place. Our next stop is the Pillones Waterfall, to get to it you will take a walk or descent of approximately 10 minutes along the banks of the white river where you will see rocks shaped by the erosion of water and the majestic PILLONES WATERFALL. Once there you will be able to enjoy the landscape, nature and take photographs. Later we will make a stop at a house in the Pillones annex where we will have lunch and begin our return to the city of Arequipa.
16:30pm Approximately we will be arriving in Arequipa, our disembarkation being 3 blocks from the main square.
